Hi all,
Have an appointment tomorrow at the genius bar and I'm hoping to get my iPhone 5 fixed or a possible swap out.
It's long overdue a service because it's so difficult for me to get to a retail store. Can you tell me if you think I'll be charged for a repair or swap out?
Not in the greatest of financial situations at the moment..
The problems are:
- Recognizable amount of light leak in the top right corner of the screen. I've had this since I got it.
- Small purple dots on the camera when I take pictures. This appeared a couple of months ago.
After reading a few posts on the apple forums I understand this is another technical issue with early iPhones.

Highly annoying.
- And finally, it will dim itself to the lowest brightness setting occasionally.
If i'm in the light, I can barely see the screen enough to navigate to the brightness settings to change it back. Another highly annoying problem.
