    All readers in Germany and Austria will be happy to hear, that in those two countries the iPhone will soon be sold by another operator.

    In Germany "Vodafone" will introduce the iPhone by the end of october. In Austria it will be "3" or "drei".

    "3": http://derstandard.at/1285199649969/Exklusivvertraege-gefallen-3-bietet-das-iPhone-an
    (Both in german - the austrian source is very trustworthy, also it has already been posted by the official "drei" facebook account on their wall)

    Especially in Germany this step was BADLY NEEDED. Germany was amongst the initial iphone countries (with the original iphone) and has had only ONE operator selling the iphone since 2007. Time for change.
