Getting Hands-On with the phones?

Will Apple stores have display models up before release day? I am torn on the two sizes. As someone with shaky hands I want the image-stabilization of the 6+ but it seems so large in the hands-on photos I have seen. Would really like to be able to hold one before I decide... but in time to pre-order if possible.

Thanks. Still leaning towards the Plus for the camera and because I use my phone for data/surfing so much more than as a phone (average 10 cell minutes a month lol)
