Yeah, but no one is interested in his website... not even Russian hackers. ;)

Why would they bother. Rudy will just scream all of his secrets on TV.

That's a statement I can wholeheartedly agree with.

Some webmaster created his website so that Rudy can browse it believing that it gets thousands of daily (unique) visitors.

Maybe he had Trump's son create it. I hear he's very good at those computer things.

Probably, the Russian webmaster refused as he didn't want to be tangled with irrelevance.

Yes. That was the point in starting this thread. To show the incompetence of who will be in charge. Was that not clear?

Yup, if there's anyone who will explicitly lead the charge to finalize the building of the Security State, it's Rudy.

So how is that list different than one that would describe Hillary's server? Didn't you vote for her?

Get over Hillary losing. You (and others) don't have to bring her up in every thread. It's irrelevant as Hillary is not in charge of cybersecurity...

Unless you know something I don't. Further - one does not negate the other. Poor argument.

So she would have been acceptable as president, in charge of whoever would be handling cybersecurity, even though she owned a server that was completely qwnable.

Just establishing how unimportant this issue is except as a partisan gotcha moment.

It's one of the gazillion advisory groups, they rarely do anything in particular other than writing down a document that no one will ever read. It's a cookie to keep Rudy happy.

Your premise is irrelevant. Meanwhile, you've seemed to also miss that we're having quite a bit of fun with this and not taking it uber-seriously. Did you miss that?

He said cyber. I'm thinking more along the lines of lotion and TP to clean up.

Did you miss that I'm having fun too? Pointing out flawed arguments makes endorphins flow.

It was only a reply to that specific statement: "No one is interested in him really."

Interest in him may increase dramatically if he's given any real power or budget. On the other hand, if he remains just the lead of an advisory group, then it's likely to be as yaxomoxay concluded: a cookie to keep him happy.

At this point, we don't really know which way it will go.

Those bottom teeth still bug the heck out of me. Dude you're a lawyer, you used to be Mayor of the most well know city in the US and you have nasty teeth like that.
