Gizmodo employee's iCloud account hacked; iPhone/iPad/MacBook all remote wiped

    Scary. This guy had his Google/Twitter/iCloud accounts all connected so with one password (still not determined how it was obtained) the hacker was able to remote wipe every iDevice, delete the Google/Gmail accounts, and send malicious tweets.

    Let this be a warning to exercise extreme caution when linking accounts.

    Poor guy, Scary it is ... And like with all tools: remotewipe it can be used for good and bad.
    Time to verify the segregation & diversity of accounts and password quality again.

    The last update claims someone used social engineering and Apple Tech Support gave access to his account.
