Hi,
I just recently made the switch from POP to IMAP for accessing my gmail account through Mail. It was working fine (well... still getting used to it), until around noon today, when all of a sudden I wasn't able to send messages anymore. Any messages I send get stuck in the Outbox and i get this error:

The server "smtp.gmail.com" refused to allow a connection on port 25.

Thanks for any help!

oops nevermind. Sorry. Apparently that outgoing server port should be 465, not 25. Anybody have any clue what would have caused that port to change? I set it up the IMAP account following all the instructions, and it was working fine for a few days, and then it just stopped working, and presumably this port setting got changed somehow. Computers are strange....
