I was leaning towards the gold but i feel most gold products usually fade and fade quick...what are your opinions?

It shouldn't but honestly, no one really knows - only time will tell on how these phones handle wear and tear

Ask me again in a couple of months..:) I tend to keep my phones in a case though...the Champagne is a departure from the normal black / slate that I usually buy...Looking forward to having something different this time around, and a nice Cognac brown case to go with it...should show off the accent around the home button well.

The black iPhone 5's haven't faded ... or at least mine hasn't.

Fade? I've never seen a black iPhone fade in color so my guess is no.

I think anodizing can fade, especially with wear...

The more important question: Will it blend?:D:);):apple:

My silver 5 hasn't faded since I got it launch day, so I'd imagine the gold would be fine.

If it does fade you will have gotten a two-fer!

Gold iPhone 5s at the start and a white iPhone 5s at the end!

A company like Apple uses only the finest Chinese gold so you can rest assured that your gold iPhone, will stay golden.
