I have a feeling whoever made that bid had no intention of buying it.
Joke bid. The buyer wont pay.
It was the CEO of Samsung who wants to get his hands on one as soon
as possible to begin the copy process.
Agreed, no way will the seller ever get the money.
you should place a bid.
Gold iPhone 5s Sold for $10,100 on eBay
This is outrageous - http://www.ebay.com/itm/Apple-iPhon...locked-Brand-New-VERY-HARD-FIND-/111174869600
No, just proof that the world is full of knuckleheads.
Something was suspicious as it went from $2500 to $10,000 and from a zero rated buyer. I think someone fed up with the scammers trolled them
Ew, it's only 16 gigs too. Wtf.
Couldn't the guy who posted it just make a fake account and bid on it just to raise the price for others? Easy scam.
There's a big difference between sold and getting their $!!!
Agreed. There is no way, someone will actually pay that much.
Nobody is paying 10,000. It's bogus. Plenty for sale BIN for around $1000.
Too many 0 feedback bidders, can't be real
I'm sure eBay are happy with their 10% listing fee
0 feed back guys shill bidding. The guy who wanted to win simply got pissed, bid as high as possible, then retracted the bid a few hours later to screw the seller. Dishonest selling is always annoying.
You can buy the gold 64gb for under 1500, so no real buyer will pay 10k for one.
The fact that a news site took time to report theirs is just stupid.
