I have a feeling whoever made that bid had no intention of buying it.

It was the CEO of Samsung who wants to get his hands on one as soon
as possible to begin the copy process.

Something was suspicious as it went from $2500 to $10,000 and from a zero rated buyer. I think someone fed up with the scammers trolled them :)

Couldn't the guy who posted it just make a fake account and bid on it just to raise the price for others? Easy scam.

Agreed. There is no way, someone will actually pay that much.

Nobody is paying 10,000. It's bogus. Plenty for sale BIN for around $1000.

0 feed back guys shill bidding. The guy who wanted to win simply got pissed, bid as high as possible, then retracted the bid a few hours later to screw the seller. Dishonest selling is always annoying.

You can buy the gold 64gb for under 1500, so no real buyer will pay 10k for one.

The fact that a news site took time to report theirs is just stupid.
