I desperately need a monitor for my 2015 MacBook Pro w/AMD.
I like the Retina display and would like the external minitor to look as good.

Been looking at USED monitors on eBay.
Thinking about picking up one of those dell 4k ultra HD 24/27" found a few for 250.00ish. Are they any others within thy at poleice range used that would be good?

The Dell P2415Q and P2715Q are really great monitors. Not sure of anything else available in that range that will be as good. I've got a P2715Q myself, and six of them in our edit house.

Found a 24" for 250 shipped, think I could beat that or should I pull the trigger? It's pretty clean

I'd go for it. I don't think the 27 incher will go that low and that's a great deal for the 24. I almost prefer the 24" for the higher pixel density. Just make the sure the warranty is active if you can - I've run into late onset defects in both a 24" and a 27" model.

I had both Dell's and they both worked perfect. Had to trade the 27" for a 24" due to a smaller office desk and 27" was just way too big since i sit half an inch in front of the screen (almost).
Running the 24" at the highest res possible and it looks and feels fantastic. I could not imagine working on a non retina display anymore.

Oh... 28" seems pretty big I'm only a few feet from the monitor . Wonder if they got a 24" around

I'm thinking of the P2415Q but I'm unsure of which adapter (or dongle!) to use. I guess it doesn't matter which one, but I want 60hz in 4k resolution. Have searched the internets and found a "hack" but hopefully it doesn't damage the computer or something.

Also, I'm guessing the display won't charge the computer as if you would get the LG Ultrafine display?

Maybe this one will work? https://www.amazon.co.uk/Kanex-USB-...8-1-fkmr0&keywords=kanex+usb-c+to+displayport

Nevermind, I found the info myself. Now I just need to get a hold of that Dell display.
