    Hey All!

I am looking for suggestions for good places to eat in and around Knoxville, TN (Will be in Walland, TN) that are unique to the area.

    1. Preferably Unique to the area
    2. Good food! Duh! - any cuisine
    3. maybe live music or something?
    4. not super super expensive, but preferably no more then 20 dollars a person ish... a little over is fine, and if you have an AMAZING suggestion don't hold back!

I do enjoy a good whole in the wall sort of pub place or anywhere with perhaps live music maybe, or in an older part of the area (LOVE old buildings!) not super noisy (don't want a young "hip" loud club type place.

Also: if you have suggestions for something interesting to do one of the days (we'll probably have our afternoons.. 2 or 3 on free...

(been to cades cove and tuchaleechee caverns already.. and we'll be riding and hiking all day at the ranch) or a good coffee shop or a place to go to get good drinks some evening (pub like, not so much "clubby") throw em at me!

    Little Background:

I am going to be in Walland in early May visiting a ranch that I used to go to a few times a year, but haven't been in about 5 or 6 years! When I did go it was with my family or by myself with no vehicle so we never really ate out, we usually just ate on the ranch and cooked ourselves.

However, I am going with my Boyfriend this time around and we'll probably want to try some local places a night or two... maybe look for a coffee shop even some afternoon?

Soooo I am looking for suggestions, preferably Unique to the Knoxville area, (no chains please!) since I'd love to try some place different and special since we'll be there (about 7 hours from where we live)

That does look great! I will HAVE to check that out!

I also did a little searching before making this post and was wondering how these were...

I definitely will want to check out the above place one night, but we might end up going out 2... so i'd love more suggestions and comments on these.

Also! Any suggestions in good places to go for entertainment - whether it be outdoorsy, museumy, toursy... or just some live music or something... suggestions are welcome!
