Ah, we're not so special after all. There are a series of them:

http://www.google.com/linux
http://www.google.com/microsoft.html

...and my Uni!

I think I've worked out that's going on. You know all those "search this site, powered by google" things that have been popping up everywhere for the last while? I think that must give google the right to do this kinf of thing.

I guess Apple etc get their own ones because they are big names. I also seem to recall that apple recently started using a search powered by google on their site.

*search search search*

Yep: http://www.apple.com/developer/
"ADC search now powered by google"

If anyone knows, pass it on. Thanks

Has anyone heard if google is going to make their toolbar compatible with mac?

I have used it on PC IE, and it is extremly useful. I would love to have a mac version available.

I've been playing with Navigator 0.2 and it has the ability to search using Google, Lycos etc built in.

Problem is, it doesn't work :(
