GOP seems all for local regulation UNLESS it is done by Democrats

    http://www.npr.org/2015/01/15/37752...-tension-between-state-city-governments?sc=tw

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott wants to remove cities right to do regulations on inside city limits. Namely environmental regulations. Example would be the city of Denton overwhelming passed a voter law banning fracking inside city limits. Wants to over turn that.
Or a City regulation that requires junk yards to get permits. (Dallas)
Banning things like plastic bag done at the city level.
It looks like they are all for local control except when the local control is more or less Democrats.

Mind you Abbott is a hypocrite threw and threw. Guy got injured back and broken and he sued for his money. Then Abbott turn around and put caps on lawsuits like that. They are all for remove city rights to regulate themselves.

Are we talking about this specific subject? Or just flip-flopping hypocrisy? Because both parties are really good at that.

Bush in WH... Democrats are anti-war and call Bush Hitler.
Obama in WH... Democrats support bombing and arming everyone.

Oh I expect dems do the same.

The point on this one is cities directly choose to ban franking, limit plastic bags in the city. Heck if they want to set their own minium wage for inside city limits he wants to remove those rights from a city.

They usually argue for states' rights, not the rights of a municipality. That distinction is actually important here regardless of whether it's actually logical.

Democrats want to arm everyone? Well, that's news to me. We've been told hundreds on times here the exact opposite, but maybe you have further insight.

Why do I have a feeling we have SD's replacement on board?

The Senate voted 78-22, in a rare bipartisan show of support for one of Obama's high-profile initiatives.

    http://nypost.com/2013/12/01/book-excerpt-how-america-gave-guns-to-mexican-drug-cartels/

In all, we watched thousands of weapons leave, all bound for the carnage-riddled fron‑tera, the Mexican border.

The best part of this is that while Eric Holder and his scumbag crew were doing this, he as publicly announcing that America's love of guns is fueling the cartels in Mexico. Then, our dear leader Obama uses his executive power to grant immunity to both Holder and his wife.

Also, remember that whole Libya thing where the Dems were beating the drums of war? Yeah... 2 different parties, same ideas.

That you continually attempt to equate both parties with sameness proves that you're either trolling or completely oblivious to the facts in reality.

The only sure thing is that (with the exception of Bernie Sanders) no one but the wealthy have any friends in Washbag, D.C. and a growing number of State Houses.

If you believe differently, you're either a one percenter or deluded.

You've never heard people say this before? Sure they may differ on smaller issues like abortion, welfare programs, firearms, etc. However, when it comes to the huge issues they are very much the same.

They both favor the super rich, banks, corporations, foreign conflicts, foreign aid, etc. Most of all, while they put on a good show, they both absolutely support endless spending and endless debt.

I think the better way to put it would be to say that when it comes to social issues, there are huge differences between the parties. Here, democrats are left of center.

Fiscal issues and foreign policy? While you could say that democrats are left leaning relative to republicans, both are pretty solidly on the right side of the spectrum in these regards.

They have to, because with the way the monetary system works in America (as well as many other countries, I'm sure) if all the debt was paid off there would be no currency left because the currency itself is a derivative of debt.
