So one of the catch phrases being thrown around in almost every political forum is the "oh, and I guess that was GWB's fault, too?" It's a right wing comeback to the way liberals almost always warn that electing more Republicans will lead to "George Bush" politics. The Republican's kind of roll with it now and say "two years out of office, four years without the house and senate, and all liberals can do is blame Bush." Sure, as president he was the masthead for the awful policies that reduced a budget surplus to a crushing deficit. He actually signed them, etc. But the ideas for those policies weren't inherent to GWB only. They are, as shown in the video, the Republican's platform. When liberals say "that's going back to George Bush," they aren't talking about the person, but the policies and ideas he embraced.
