Not sure what to think. Not sure how gun rights "pre-date the Constitution". Agree on Glass-Steagall. 14th Amendment protection on unborn kids? (sure, after a certain date) I like how they include Planned Parenthood selling fetal body parts (proven false). Transgender bathroom debate...not even worth mentioning. Feel free to chime in...

    Not so fast:

Planned Parenthood Federation of America said it will immediately stop accepting reimbursements for supplying fetal tissue for medical research, an attempt to tamp down a controversy that has led to Republican investigations in Congress and an effort to end federal funding.
If they were getting reimbursed, then they were selling something.

They were reimbursed the costs of storage and shipping.

I don’t think you understand what the word “reimbursed” means.

There's no 3rd party that has a real shot, so I typically vote Republican.
Same sex marriage? Get the government out of marriage period.
Abortion. "The Constitution’s guarantee that no one can “be deprived of life, liberty or property” deliberately echoes the Declaration of Independence’s proclamation that “all” are “endowed by their Creator” with the inalienable right to life. Accordingly, we assert the sanctity of human life and affirm that the unborn child has a fundamental right to life which cannot be infringed. We support a human life amendment to the Constitution and legislation to make clear that the Fourteenth Amendment’s protections apply to children before birth."
I agree with. At the same time, I realize how creating more people that depend on government to provide for them isn't in the best interest of the Country.
    Porn drop it.
    Bathroom's let the establishments decide.

They must want to lose this election.

Shouldn't porn be an "unalienable right"? Sure seems like it every time I open my browser...

So they're a nonprofit, but they're selling fetal body parts.
    --- Post Merged, Jul 18, 2016 ---
Au contraire. Whether or not they make a profit, they're still selling body parts. As in:

sell: give or hand over (something) in exchange for money.
    --- Post Merged, Jul 18, 2016 ---
Then you were wrong too! Kismet!

    Reimburse v.
To make repayment to for expense or loss incurred:

Non-profit does not mean you do not deal in money. In means you don’t make a net PROFIT.

You don't get it. Getting reimbursed for shipping does not mean nor constitute that they are selling anything.

Prime example: Your mother reimburses you for shipping a package of things she left at your house. Did you sell those to her?

    See the above.

fetal tissue should be given to research labs so that real, tangible results from biomedical research can be discovered to help people suffering from various diseases, instead of people bitching about self righteous religious claims that are subjective and have no credibility in the real world. however,i know it is against the modern GOP to have to help a real person in need; only some[one] who is unborn.

Obviously, you have no idea what "non-profit" means

The definition for "sell" has trumped (see what I did there?) your definition. Doesn't matter if you make a profit, you're selling something if money is exchanged.

They're being reimbursed, which means they're not making a profit.

Arguing, Arguing, early and late; if a line were crooked, he'd argue it straight. - a comment left in someone's high school yearbook.

    Very apropos here.

You said it was proven false that they were selling baby body parts. That statement was incorrect because they were most certainly selling parts.

Words mean things. Unless I'm up against a left-winger who hates to lose; at which point the dictionary is always wrong.

Did you somehow miss the definition of "sell" that I provided? Oh well:

sell: give or hand over (something) in exchange for money.
    --- Post Merged, Jul 18, 2016 ---
I always do. Thankfully, what I believe is always factual and cool.

And you somehow missed the definition of reimbursement and non-profit. But keep arguing, as you are proving my statement true to term, over and over again.

You just defined the word irrational. Glad you finally show that you are the epitome of something.

Words do mean something. The word reimbursement means something very different from the word sell. While yes, money is involved in either case, the fundamental difference is intent. To reimburse is to receive money solely to repay a debt you incurred for the action. To sell is to receive more money than you put into the action, thus making a profit.

Used to be staunch GOP until 1995/6. Been independent since. I also prefer RC Cola over Pepsi or Coke, so there - pffft. :p :D

Agreed. Religions all have their pair bonding and separation rituals. I've never understood the logic in government having a place, except to give preferential treatment to married couples, or singles, depending on issue at hand.

How has private industry helped when all it does is to monopolize and automate everything, which in turn has led more people to need government services than ever and even you would want those services too under the right conditions (so if you need them, walk your talk and not use them? Good luck.) It's not been there for natural disasters, to fill potholes, help their fellow countrymen better themselves to be useful assets to companies (they'd rather have Americans train foreign replacements if you believe the news media over the last few years), or anything else, but it sure loves corporate welfare, tax cuts, and other freebies since people are aware of that term nowadays. But if you can make glib generalizations, anyone can and others could make even more interesting accusations about private industry - some less outlandish than others.

    Where? Sounds hot to me...

Ideally, businesses would want customers to make an ethical sale and not be so petty as to discriminate because the owners' views don't match the employees' or customers' views. Even a "liberal college professor" spent time spelling that out, but he shouldn't have had to...

Seems we're sliding down backwards on the evolutionary scale in this regard.

The Democrats? Republicans? Or both? Each side seems to be all sullen, maybe they're all emos that don't want to look for anything positive anymore?

RC always tasted like Coke going flat to me. It's not bad, but it's not Coke.

And Pepsi can go to hell.
