Hi,

I have a week 38 touch from Best Buy that I bought from their new inventory (ie, after they went a week or more of no stock).

It came with 1.1.1 preloaded.

I've noticed that on screens with gray, for example the "slide to unlock" screen, the gray at the bottom of the screen has an abrupt transition from light gray to dark gray/black.

This is also very visible on the music screen with the icons at the bottom for artists, songs, albums, etc. The bottom half of the icons are embedded within a dark gray/black strip whereas the top half of the icons are embedded within a lighter shade of gray strip. There is an abrupt transition rather than a gradual "blend."

I can even notice it on the same screen at the top where it has the name of your playlist, album, artist, etc. Even though this area is a gray blue color, I can still see an abrupt transition between the top half of this strip and the bottom half.

I've checked the various online lcd screen tests and, for the most part, the touch passes most (but not all) of those tests. Videos look fine (no negative effect) to my untrained eye.

Anyway, just wondering if others can take a peek at those various screens on your touches and report back on how yours looks. I'll try and see if I can find a camera here at work to take a few pics and post them, but I may not be able to until I get home in the evening.

Thanks in advance!
