Gruber leaks tomorrow's new iMac and mini announcement
Dan Lyons Apparently Thinks Yours Truly Hasnt Heard About the Redesigned Plastic MacBooks, Redesigned (Impressive) iMacs, Updated Minis (Including One That Ships With Mac OS X Server), the Multi-Touch Magic Mouse, and, as the Wildcard Im-Not-Sure-I-Really-Believe-It-Myself Out-There Rumor, Maybe Even Some Sort of Mentioned-Nowhere-Else-But-in-This-Very-Headline Multi-Touch Trackpad Gadget for Desktop Macs That Apple Might Release Tomorrow Morning.
that link takes me to a page with the identical link which takes me to a blog that does nothing for me
heres what it results in with no basis behind any claims
Gruber knows his stuff.
A multi-touch trackpad device for desktop users would be great! I hope it's true, but like Gruber, I won't believe it until I see it either.
Ha they have to rename it magic mouse?
I dont see that happening.
The mighty mouse name was just awarded to a different company, apple can't use it.
Gruber's been wrong before, though. But he definitely has gotten a lot right before, as well. I'm excited.
Dan Lyons chiming in can't be a horrible sign, either.
minnie mouse anyone? okay lame joke..
If all we get is new minis tomorrow I will be happy
You guys are all mac meat heads! haha so am I as I am craving for the new macs though I just bought my MBP in July 2009.
They're gonna call it mac mouse.
Didn't they already license that name from someone?
Interesting, a multi-touch trackpad in addition to a multi-touch mouse. If true, looks like Apple is really pushing multi-touch on the pointing device.
At least it's more evidence for an imminent Mac update...
They liscense it from CBS, who gave up the computer mouse trademark.
Fun bit of reading for you guys.
I'm excited. I cannot wait!
New Macs TOMORROW!!
Engadget is reporting new imacs, macbooks, new multitouch"Magic Mouse", and a new multitouch trackpad device will be released TOMORROW OCTOBER 20th 2009!!! http://www.engadget.com/2009/10/19/apple-to-introduce-host-of-new-machines-new-multitouch-input-de/
I'll believe it when it happens.
been expecting this one, been waiting for it to get a new wireless keyboard and hopefully multitouch trackpad.
Well there we have it, now can someone tell us about the GPU's they will be using?
hey apple, are you gonna include a kb/mouse on the mini finally? - you cheapskates. no wonder apple's record earning, fanboi's were happily robbed left and right.
hope new mouse is WAAY better then the last mouse.
As BSN reported Apple bought RV770 chips from AMD. This means we will see Radeon HD4850 and maybe HD4870 graphics card and maybe a return to INTEL chipsets instead of nVidia ones.
Mac mini server?
That's intriguing. Yes, I know you can run server on a mini, but a bundled, lower price would be tasty. As would the likelihood it would be more consumer oriented.
I prefer nVidia chips.
