Hey guys found this "new" app and didn't find any posts about it yet.

Beats out TTR and TTR:NIN by far

17 original tracks, not indoe crap like on TTR

Only a few notes, it does crash if you go into tour mode, just buggy but very fun and it lets you play drums and guitar. Also lets you turn our iphone upside down so you don't block the speaker.

    Price $9.99

I dont have a link but just search for it

I expected a lot from this but right now I am so dissapointed.

I've been trying to play it for almost an hour now I think, but it ALWAYS crashes somewhere in the middle of the song! Haven't been able to play one single song fully, in any of the modes so far!

This app clearly needs an update, so don't waste your money on it yet!

as the previous poster said, there is a disappointing aspect of the game. while when you are fortunate to get through a song, it is a really good game, and kicks tap tap's ass, but it crashes sooo much. even after i finish a song, and have lik ea 200 note streak, before it saved it crashed. you pretty much have to reboot at least once to play it, so while the gameplay and setlist and all are really really good, it's really unstable.

    Amazing game

    This is an awesome game!

    - Great music
    - Great graphics
    - Smooth gameplay
    - Ability to play Guitar or Drums

    - Sometimes crashes in Tour mode when registering score
    - Guitar notes fell behind the beat in some instances in Smoke Under Water in the second half of the song

This game is fun and gets you involved with the music and gameplay. The ability to choose guitar or drums extends the life of the game / adds replay value. Aside from my 2 cons which can be easily addressed with an update, it's well worth the $9.99. If you like TTR or music rhythmic games, you should own this one. Definitely smokes TTR/NIN!

when will it be available for ipod touch users. or is this even going to happen?

Why would they make it just for the iPhone? To me that makes no sense. They must be planning on releasing it to Touch users. At $9.99 they would be crazy not to.

Has anyone come up with a solution to stop the crashing? Any word on an update from Gameloft? This thing crashes before you can get through ANY song.

    Tried re-installing, re-downloading... everything

Either my internet just died, or this has some serious features.

    A whopping 167.4MB!! (20 minutes remaining)

Will be sure to post a review over at RazorianFly shortly.

It's a pretty good game - not perfect, but very addictive and the music quality and background animations are good. Doesn't crash for me. Make sure you read the desciption on the App Store:

Apparently the game uses lots of system RAM - when the iPhone is running low on RAM, it kills the currently running app so that it always has enough memory to run the Phone app if needed. Turning off the system clears off any apps running in the background taking up RAM, like Safari (if you've got a large webpage loaded in Safari, that's a lot of RAM lost).

However, I *do* get the notes falling behind. In fact, not just the on-screen notes, but the entire guitar section falls behind, making it sound horrible when I play the notes correctly. That is a bug they definitely should have fixed before the initial release. I also wish it wern't all licensed music - I'd love to have some original or indie tunes, like DanceDanceRevolution always has - but I realize this is only a $10 (now $7) app, so they probably didn't want to put that much money into making the game.

Like many large games it was always suggested you turn the phone off then back on before playing. Otherwise it'll crash. This is how I get around it, though I am not happy about it.

Doing that gets you to play for 1/2 a song. This program is useless until they update

Just bought this hoping 1.2.0 was much improved .... and while it doesn't ever crash for me ... it does start to lag on the longer songs ... seems especially when you make mistakes it causes a pause for a fraction of a second which seems to add up since i did a 100% track earlier and it didn't seem to lag.

This game also treats the iPhone/iPod battery with contempt .... i played this on fully charged iPod ealier and when finished about 1 hour later battery was showing about 30% :O
