again, if you are not legally allowed to drink, what difference does it make? how is that any different from being at a movie theater? which BTW serve alcohol in some locations.

If it is a concealed weapon how are the bartenders supposed to know? This won't stop any future mass shootings, but it makes it a lot easier for an accident to happen.

I carry everywhere, except fed buildings/post offices. if the venue has metal detectors I leave it at home.

Movie theaters are easier to get enraged in. The talky portion of the film commences, and all the phones come out and texting commences.

nah, the movie makes a difference, too many "rocky" clowns or professional drifters coming out of fast & furious movies, it's like seriously people.

How will that be enforced, especially if the gun is concealed? What makes you think the law will be followed? We already have a thread encouraging CCW if it's not legal in your state. You have admitted that you carry in places that don't allow it.

They should have called it the "Hold My Beer Gun Bill".

good valid points, like anything else they will be "enforced" after the fact IF the CCW holder uses it. this is STILL working on the "assumption" that bar owners allow it in the first place. guessing most wont even if they support it due to liability reasons.

And who really knows if the designated driver isn't sneaking drinks of alcohol? Objections to this bill are ridiculous given that cars are far more deadly than handguns in America.
