I was previously top but in beta 6, they added the buttons back to the very bottom and I like the swipe feature to quickly navigate between tabs.

same. The new bottom is not perfect but solves some of the issues I had with navigation whilst keeping the new swipe gestures around. ios15 Safari is still a net downgrade to me though. I’m waiting to see how they’ll handle browser extensions on iOS, that might redeem it for me unless they have some BS restrictions on what can and cannot be installed.

I don't use Bookmarks, I use Favorites instead, because I need to see the favicons. Touching the address bar instantly brings up favorites, so I need the address bar to be as close to my finger as possible.
If they ever give us the option of putting a 'Return to Start Page' button on the toolbar, I won't care where the address bar is.

I haven’t tried the address bar on the bottom yet but I’m sure I’ll prefer it there. I didn’t like the new interface in the earlier betas, but the newest beta is exactly what I’m looking for.

I’m using iPad predominantly so I have no choice for “bottom”.
So I technically don’t care much about how Apple implements it.

Why does the bottom mode not allow the url bar to be hidden? I much prefer too since it shows content all the way to the edge of the display.
