Spotlight Search or use Siri to open Settings. Try Reset all Settings. If you can't open it you'll have to connect to iTunes and restore.Haha, yes I have and a hard reset.
There is a reason why you should not install betas on devices that's used for daily tasks.
This!! I don't understand why people do this. It's called beta for a reason.
Most non-dev people do it because they want to try bleeding edge features and see what they look like. And they do it because *usually* apps tend not do disappear completely, and because yes, there are bugs, but they're not that critical that you're completely unable to use your phone (at least, that's the way it has been so far for me with iOS and macOS betas).
Every once in a while a completely crippling bug pops up and then you have to downgrade. Tough luck, it's not the end of the world. But please stop being condescending to those people who just want to try out new things. Not everyone can afford the luxury of having 2 phones, but they still want to try betas.
The thread starter asked for advice. That's what these forums are for, among other things, so it's perfectly legit.

Or, when possible, replace the device. At least NAND chips. This issue is big enough to ask Apple for a replacement.may be some larger system issue that can only be fixed by a complete restore and restore from backup.
By no means iOS will offload its own settings app. By no means. Is Offload Unused Apps on or off? It is in settings - iTunes and App Store
I knew there was a bit of a risk which is why I waited to hear feedback before I did it. I expected minor issues but nothing like this. I think the issue is more around my phone being 3 years old and starting to die, just wanted it to hold out until September ☹️

Have you checked how much storage you have. Perhaps you are almost out and there's a bug that is deleting things to make room to function
Here's a thread on the Apple Developer forums, with two users (including me) experiencing the same problem:I have 7+ 256GB on non-beta 103.2 with 131GB free, so I don't think it is storage related. I do have a lot of apps installed though... Seems to be related to when the App store is applying updates to already installed apps and not new downloads.
When I woke up this morning and looked at my phone half of my apps had disappeared, even phone, messages and settings apps are gone. Running iOS11 dev beta. Has anyone else experienced this? What’s the best way to fix it?

And Apple PR will be in a hell of mess.I wish Apple would add code to betas that automatically brick the device if it was someone’s primary one. The number of forum posts would go way down.
