    it's from a SURVEY.

you guys are going by POLLS, based on the level of stupidity practiced in the U.S many gun owners would tell you they had a "boating" accident where the guns were "lost" .

... But are the 3% also part of the 1%? I mean if they got all the money, they need to protect it right?

Yah, low rates of market participation, it's a shame. Like around here we just keep doing stuff like getting the buckles of our sandals tangled together while getting out of the truck. I’m pretty sure if my niece had a gun with her that night she could have shot her way out of the situation. But she settled for buying different sandals the next time she actually needed to walk someplace, which iirc was about six weeks. The new ones were Jimmy Choos and set her back a serious bundle. Some people never learn. Now we'll never know if she could shoot her way out of a wrong-shoes situation in a pickup truck some time.

I'll be honest and say that I've often wondered about the link between enthusiasm for Zombie-themed tv and movie franchises, and widespread ownership of assault modern sporting rifles.

Because all things considered, zombies are probably the only legitimate rationalization for owning one of those guns. You wouldn't really use your Colt AR-6720 to shoot a burglar or even an angry mob of Black Lives Matter protesters.

But a rampaging horde of the flesh-eating undead? Have at it, man.

Yeah I think you're onto something....

... but remember that guy in one of the Carolinas, had like five thousand guns.. somehow that place didn't look  like he had a lot of dough not wrapped up in his collection. I'll have to see if I can find a picture.

Why are we not surprised. I would use an RPG launcher if I had one. But then I've never seen a burglar face to face, only one leaving by the back door at a bro's house. Poor taste to shoot a burglar in the back...

If I was part of the 1%, I would have a lot more guns. Many more with the fun switch.

Education in bound. (Note 5.56/2.23 are in laymans terms the same thing)
    Even more.

It's not poor taste, most States would consider that illegal.

I purposely bought a shotgun just for home defense and taught my wife how to use it as well.

Most states would consider my using an RPG launcher illegal period. It's why I don't have one. My bad temper might be part of why i don't have some regular ol' shotgun.

The only thing I get from this report is that 3% of the population is stupid enough to admit to a stranger over the phone that their household has guns in it.

There has been a long tradition of "Left-wing" zombie films, along with it's "Right-wing" counterpart. Romero and others have used the zombie film as a meta for critic of ourselves (Man's penchant for cruelty, consumerism, and prejudice. Class struggle.). More "Right-wing" takes champion the survivor against an Other, (WWZ, 28 Days Later, TWD, etc.) the zombie is but a proxy. In this age of endless war abroad facilitating paranoia and increased militarization at home, it not surprising which strain has gained more popularity in American culture.
