Do you expect friends to ignore each other?
lol you meany!
Keep in mind, Sky News is part of the Fox News family. Their main intention of releasing this headline is the same as yours, they want to still continue damaging Obama's name even after he's been elected.
The truth is, after trying Bush, EVERYBODY is willing to come to the negotiations table and will also bend over backwards to make something work. And regardless of what many think, Hamas was elected into power by the Palestinian people and they have the right as elected leaders to talk to Obama or any president this country may elect.
And he should graciously accept. It would be the first step in the peace process, or a step at least.
How is this not a good thing?
Look. Do I have to explain to you why palling around with terrorists is not a good thing? Why do you hate America?
You do this too well BV !
You won't be laughing when the muslims and socialists force you into a gay marriage.
BV you're stuck in character! You need an alcoholic beverage immediately !
I need sleep. And rest from the madness.
Note that this sentence:
Was echoed in this post not less than an hour ago.
And just for laughs, another post from one of my favorite blogs.
It most certainly would, but let's get real...
These are some snippets from Obama's
policy on Israel:
"Senator Obama opposed Hamas’ participation in the 2006 Palestinian
"Senators Obama and Biden are cosponsors of the Palestinian Anti-Terrorism Act of 2006. Introduced in the wake of Hamas’ victory in the Palestinian elections, this act outlaws direct assistance to any entity of the Palestinian Authority controlled by Hamas until it meets the conditions of the United States, Russia, the European Union and the United Nations to renounce violence, recognize Israel, and agree to abide by all agreements signed by the Palestinian Authority. Obama signed a letter urging President Bush to make it clear to Palestinian leaders that terrorist groups must either disarm or be barred from the political process. Since the elections, Obama has stated that Israelis must have a true Palestinian partner for peace. He will encourage the strengthening of the Palestinian moderates who seek peace and work to isolate Hamas and other extremists who are committed to Israel’s destruction."
It should also be noted that:
- Obama won the Jewish vote by 78% to 21%.
- His senior adviser (Axelrod), is Jewish, and his chief of staff (Emanuel) is an orthodox Jew.
So no, he isn't going to be "palling around with terr'rists" anytime soon.
Sure you can't handle one more?
"Gun Enthusiasts Stock Up on Firearms Over Fears of Dem Crackdown"
"MIDLOTHIAN, Va. -- When 10-year-old Austin Smith heard Barack Obama had been elected president, he had one question: Does this mean I won't get a new gun for Christmas?
That brought his mother, the camouflage-clad Rachel Smith, to Bob Moates Sports Shop on Thursday, where she was picking out that special 20-gauge shotgun -- one of at least five weapons she plans to buy before Obama takes office in January."
I don't disagree with anything you said. I was just saying that he should graciously accept the offer, not that he will
OMG! Obama is a terrorist!
OK children, the adults need a rest, please.
There should be a token arab on his panel of advisers on foreign policy.
But wait- isn't Rahm a Jew?
Oh, I guess he must be a traitor too, as well as a terrorist.
Can this stupid thread please be closed? Or am I misunderstanding?
Do you think Mahmoud Ahmadinejad might be interested?
I received an email the other day that told me that Obama likes hummus and baba ganoush. If he pulled out a copy of the Koran at his inauguration, I'd laugh my frigging head off.
Lee: Threads have to reach another series of exponential degrees of absurdity and mud-slinging before they warrant closure. Feel free to go ahead.
Help me out, darlin'. Lets' see...how much more silly can this crap get? Uh oh...
I think I misinterpreted the intention of this thread.
Methinks this entire forum is sporadically dripping with the deepest of sarcasm now that there is a dominant reality at hand. It's becoming more and more subtle. I predict there will be a newcomer that, absent the obligatory rolleyes, will believe his staunch conservative, McCain/Palin, ultra-religious, Republican self has found a new echo-chamber with a minority of "leftists", only to become gradually confused and disheartened.
1. Abedinejad's letter of congratulations
2. Israel's warning of showing weakness in communicating
3. Hamas' overtures to open a dialog
Boy. Do these people know what "Inauguration Day" is? No talking to our President-Elect. Slow your roll!
Ahmadinejad and Meshaal know the difference between the President and the President Elect, alright. But, like most other leaders around the world, they're eager to express their excitement over the fact that the US will no longer be run by Beavis and Butthead. They have no illusions of finding a friend in Obama, but they're grateful that the US president is a pragmatic person with a brain. That hasn't been the case for the last 8 years.
Well isn't that like the pot calling the kettle black. Two wacko's being glad that two other wacko's are gone.
At this point im convinced you are a troll.
