Yeah, we may have our differences, we may bicker, but we can all agree that America is still pretty awesome and that we'll generally celebrate in true American fashion: Get drunk, eat too much, wax poetic about how awesome we are, and blow stuff up. May you all have a great holiday! (of course, to our European contributors - just give us a pass - you have your own awesome holidays...

Happy Independence Day to you as well!

Yes, we all have differences - and similarities - but today we are unified as Americans; the day officially recognized for a new country's birth, by of and for the people, with life liberty and the pursuit of happiness, with unalienable rights for all within.

    Happy birthday America!

Despite all our differences, we're one big happy dysfunctional family.

    Happy Independence Day!

Remember, people: bottle rockets are meant to be launched from bottles, not your hands.

Interesting, I read an article recently about during actual warfare, the British didn't take our colony's threats of independence seriously, probably something they did with a majority of their colonies. But it was intelligence and tact allowed the US to succeed eventually. The best part of independence is the founding father's willingness to stick to their ideals after they had won. Paul Ryan, aka the sellout, could learn from that. Happy 4th!

The butt's a kind of bottle in certain situations, so the rule still stands.

He stole that movie. One of the only films where Leo wasn't as good as he usually is. I thought he was miscast personally.

    Happy belated 4th!

When people say the flag makes their chest swell with pride, I used to think that was just an expression.
