Hard Drive Stats on Icon

I don't know if this has been posted before, but I didn't know what to search under.

I was looking through the desktop gallery and I noticed that under the hard drive it said how much of it was used and the size of the hard drive. I was just wondering how you do that.

Go to your desktop...Press APPLE + J...Then check "Show item info." It's a nifty feature but it never seems to update in real time like the info on the bottom of the Finder window does.
