The really shocking part is that this lunatic is an actual professor at a supposed elite university.

More conservative faux outrage from our dear friends at Breitbart. Odd, I can't seem to find any of the descriptions Breitbart used in the libs post.

More hate speech from the "inclusive party" that claims it has a "big tent" - which is only big enough to include people that agree with them in lock-step.

I used to actually believe liberals were more gentle, caring, forgiving and inclusive - live and let live and all that...now I really understand they are the founders of the hate mentality in the US.

Present-day American Conservatism: Its basically the most evil and unpleasant people in society conning the stupidest.

See: Trump, Donald; Adelson, Sheldon; et al.

Its no surprise that the loudest voices in what passes for Republicanism are casino operators. With fortunes founded on the idea that you can fleece the rubes bare if you can sell them on the fantasy of easy money.

I know, it's almost like they would block funding for 9/11 first responders, vets & preventative services for women's reproductive services. I mean that would make them total dicks, right?

I marvel of the chutzpah of those on the right to portray themselves as victims, in spite of the fact that (1) they have presided over the dismantling of social programmes that have hit those in our society the least able to defend themselves; (2) they have repeatedly ignored the advice of scientific and social experts; (3) have brought religious fanaticism into politics; (4) they have supported a sustained attack on civil rights while simultaneously posturing about religious freedom and gun ownership (as if the two are somehow compatible with each other... go figure) and (5) they have fostered attitudes of callous disregard for others, hate and cynicism... All of this they did while wrapping themselves in the American flag and calling anybody who disagrees with them unpatriotic.

So, yes, those of us on the left are not going to shake the hands of those on the right any time soon. About all the polite discourse we can muster is 'We told you so' and 'The time of your disproportionate impact on society is over'. That's not prejudice, discrimination, or victimisation of those on the right. It's just the way it is. And to the extent there is tension, it exists on both sides of the political spectrum, with each side willing to attribute the worst motivations to the other. FWIW, I believe many conservatives care deeply about their country, I just disagree with their world view.

100% accurate - they are the most hateful, miserable, angry people ever. Like only ISIL is more angry but its close.

Ah, Harvard. Where the most frequently awarded grade is an "A" and the median grade is an "A-."

I'm shocked, SHOCKED to see grade inflation at such a...a liberal institution.

I never thought I would see conservatives do desperate to look good but I see it here over and over. The fake outrage even requires a second post to make it look worse. You do know there has been a discussion on this for a couple days?

    Not shocked.
I've said this for a long time. For the party of fun and openness, they are the most angry and miserable people I've ever met. One just has to look around PRSI and see that (minus maybe @Renzatic who seems to be somewhat happy and actually smile from time to time). Not sure I'd go as far as calling them ISIL/ISIS, but misery does love company.

Now? Only now? Judging by your rhetorical cliches, you've believed this to be true for quite some time.

If we're all honest about it, we're all pretty shrill and uptight these days. It's the price of living in contentious times.

Now you sound like a Nazi apologist and collaborator. Vidkun Quisling would be proud.

Liberals need to keep kicking the hornet's nest. It's just going to make election day more satisfying. :D

Yup, just like y'all claimed when mittens was running. LOL.

Gotta love right wing fantasy land.

This professor is right. America needs to stop coddling stupidity. There is no possibility of any type of rational discussion with someone who genuinely believes an invisible sky fairy snapped his fingers and created the earth 6,000 years ago.

Yet you voted for Obama twice, right? Yet he belonged to a church that believes:
We believe in God, the Eternal Spirit, who is made known to us in Jesus our brother, and to whose deeds we testify:

God calls the worlds into being, creates humankind in the divine image, and sets before us the ways of life and death.

God seeks in holy love to save all people from aimlessness and sin.

God judges all humanity and all nations by that will of righteousness declared through prophets and apostles.

In Jesus Christ, the man of Nazareth, our crucified and risen Lord,God has come to us and shared our common lot, conquering sin and death and reconciling the whole creation to its Creator.
How could you vote for a clown like Obama who swallows such claptrap? Lefties. So easily swayed.
