Hi everyone,

I've been watching some unboxing videos of the Edition watch and I noticed that the box doubles as a charging stand and I realised it's basically the same box as the one you get on the normal Apple Watch only it has the charger sticking out and a lightning port at the back.

Has anyone tried to mod their box and add a charger? It seems like a pretty easy DIY project...

Thank you for linking that thread. It died, sadly.

I did the same as others and (carefully) drilled a hole in the top for the USB cord to slide through. However, I only drilled through the top half of the case (it separates into two halves).
I then used some Loctite Epoxy Putty (from Home Depot) to hold it in place. They have it on amazon too.
Home Depot had a grey one that matches the felt/suede pretty well.

I bought this from China and I'm waiting for it come. Then I'll wrap the charger cord around the inside (I got a 1m cord for this), connect it to the adaptor, drill a hole in the back of the box, and epoxy the adaptor to the hole. In the end, it should be like a white, plastic version of the Edition box.
