For atheism to fail, it would have to have an objective.

Incorrect. Atheism has been around longer than theism, just as nakedness has been around longer than clothes.

I didn't mean literally.... I meant a new rise of free-thinkers has just begun to take back society from the shackles of organized religion. God!

Which is good given the stupidity that dominated the last decade.

Ok, so its been around for a while. Why then is it inferior to say Christianity?

But that article was in 2007, seems like with all the noise that the so called new atheists were making since then it seemed to do nothing to Christianity as a whole.

Its not. An increasing percentage of the world doesn't care that much for religion anymore.

You might want to check out the other link.

And who said anything about anything being inferior?

EDIT: I read the other article and it simply says that Atheists are getting more bold.

The reason is because compare to say Christianity, it seems like Christianity still has more impact, more influenced, and even more respect.

What does that mean? I wonder if its just denominations, structures, or faith in general? It world seem while in this post-modern would power structures are being questioned more, the belief in God is fairly the same if not more than what it use to be. But, I have no facts to support this.

Having "respect" for the teachings of Jesus or Buddha does not preclude being an atheist.

So, because something appears to have "more impact" "more respect", everything else has failed?

Is this just a troll? If not, please flesh out what answer you really want answered. You asked a question in your subject line, you got several answers. Were they inadequate? If so, tell us why.

I think you'll find that there are many other causes for which humanity is ready and willing to raise the banner of stupidity.

Atheism hasn’t failed. Atheism is failure! It never had any purpose other than to separate man from GOD. That has not and will not happen so the failures pretend in their own mind it has already happened and ignore their failure. Hence atheism = failure.

Then find some. Truth is, belief in organized religion and theism in general has been falling for many years.

    Oh please.

Please prove that "God" exists and isn't something someone made up.

    You can't? Oh well.
