I have a 2011 Mac Mini 2.3 Ghz Base Line
My current monitor died so I need to get a replacement. Thinking about buying the new Dell 3014 30" inch monitor.

Here's the monitor

Here's the Mac Mini http://www.everymac.com/systems/apple/mac_mini/specs/mac-mini-core-i5-2.3-mid-2011-specs.html

Is this the cable i need for the monitor, so it will display the highest resolution? http://store.apple.com/us/product/MB571Z/A/mini-displayport-to-dual-link-dvi-adapter

anyone have a setup like this? Mac Mini to 30 inch? suggestions?

Hello!
Yes, you can use that adaptor to get the full resolution. Though. if you want to save some money, I would get one from Monoprice or Amazon-- in my experience the generic adaptors work fine too. And someone correct me if I'm wrong, couldn't the OP just use a displayport cable to get the full resolution?
