I just got my hands on Pink Floyd - Eckoes; the best of Pink Floyd (my mum bought it...). So I decided that would make a lovely addition to my iPod. I chuck disc one in, it spins around a bit, a min later, my iMac spits it out. So I think oh **** something wrong with my drive, try another disc, fine.
So I tried disc two, same deal.

How do I bybass this bs??

Well this is just ********, we pay good money for this cd, and I cant even put it on what I use to listen to music??
Well, back to piracy for me.

I have the cd, and it ripped fine, so i dont necessarily think that it is something built into the cd. I often have to take a pencil and run it around the outer edge of cds to get them to read in my PB. This removes "knurls" or something like that, and my PB will actually read the disk, rather than going "grunt, grunt, whirrrrrrrrrrrrrr, grunt, EJECT" lol.
