Are there any watcher's of Big Love who think Bill Hendrickson is slightly out of his mind? If you enjoy this kind of drama, it certainly is entertaining.:)

First of all he is a polygamist, juggling 3 wives, he is part owner of an Indian casino, now running for political office in Utah and plans on outing himself as a polygamist right after he is elected as a Republican? I don't understand what positive thing outing himself would accomplish as it would just cause an upheaval. I'd think he'd want to establish a track record as a good politician before willingly jumping into scandal?

Regarding polygamy, I have no problem with it, if it works, but the question is, does it work? The documentaries I've seen of it seem to be a means for man to have his kingdom (and harem) on Earth. ;)

Good point especially on the minors, I agree. I did not realize until today the opposite is called polyandry. :)

Don't have HBO, but from the description of the show, I wouldn't watch it even if I did have HBO.
