Apple has run out of white iPhone 4s on the eve of the launch of the hot-selling next-generation smartphone, the latest hiccup in the gadget's closely watched global roll-out.

Apple said on Wednesday that supplies of its more popular black model remain ample.

Is it only the Apple bogs that are saying that Apple never offered purchasing of a white one, and the black one is sold out from New York to Honolulu?

On record Fox news is the absolute worst news team. They are highly unprofessional and lack common knowledge. A local Fox news station had a video of the iPhone 4 prior to the WWDC 2010. This might seem normal. However, they did not even bother to show a video or pics of the ACTUAL iPhone 4 that leaked out. Rather, they did a youtube search and found a video of an iPhone 4 that someone in their basement made while drinking too much. It was absolutely hilarious to me and anyone else that picks up a paper every now and then.

Sadly, that's a Reuters story. Fox just pulled it off the wire and slapped it onto their website. Oh well, it shows that one doesn't get it and the other one doesn't read it before publishing.

It's not a news station -- they don't associate with news reporting. They go for dramatic sensationalism and drumming up the kind of stories that will get as many viewers as possible. As a result, you're not going to find much accuracy from them.

No they aren't. Either the forum members or the best buy store have it wrong. We have it straight from Apple that there will be no white iPhones until the second half of July.
