supposed to go on till 4 pm I think. I missed the first half of it as no one was broadcasting a time and I figured it would be later in the day since it was going to be broadcasted live.

I watched part of it. Until I realized it was just a free campaign ad for both democrats and republicans.

Glad to see the status quo is still in place, I figured this would turn into a political showdown.

It looks like Biden makes everyone uncomfortable in the room when he speaks... I wonder if Obama is regretting using him as a running mate yet.

Richest nation on earth and yet the only developed nation that doesn't offer healthcare to all its citizens, because some people are greedy.

Sort it out, Congress. I like the concept of the summit but have no faith it will change anyone's mind.

I liked Biden's little speech. He was probably the only person in that room that spoke from the heart.

My favorite comment was from Chris Dodd (I think). Something to the effect of how we have a Constitutional right to an attorney regardless of the cost or ability to pay, yet we don't have a right to a physician.

Only as a defendant in criminal cases, I don't really see the issues as parallel.

Ok, make the right to a physician only when you need one.

(edit) Or, if you want to make the parallel, only when you have any symptom that requires one. Not every defendant is guilty, but they are charged, and thus have the symptom, therefore are afforded an attorney.

Sounds like he should work to amend our constitution.
