Hi. My first post.
I have a 128Mb indigo clamshell running OS9.2 with a standard internal airport.
It connects to a NETGEAR DG834G router showing a strong signal. Router and laptop both recognise each other, and IP addresses have been assigned.
BUT.. I can't connect to Internet, even though connected to router.
My router IP is 192.168.0.1, and laptop has been given 192.168.0.5 by the router. I read somewhere that Airport needs IP addresses starting with 10 (eg 10.0.1.1) to work properly, and 192 addresses will fail! Is this right? If so, how do I do this?
I have spent three evenings trying to find a cure.Does anyone else use OS9 on a clamshell to successfully connect, if so, how are you doing it?
Thanks

Where it says "DNS Server" in the TCP/IP control panel, type in the following values

4.2.2.1
4.2.2.2
4.2.2.3
4.2.2.4
4.2.2.5
4.2.2.6

Exactly like that, including each one on seperate lines. Just copy and paste, even.

That is entirely false.
