Ok. I've been using a G3-upgraded PowerComputing PowerCenter Pro 210 for a while as my desktop, and decided I wanted to get USB working on this thing. I put in an el cheapo PCI USB card that was advertised as working on G3 Macs, and while I can get it to power USB devices, I cannot seem to get the computer to recognize it. I am currently running 9.1, btw, with all the USB extensions and whatnot installed and on.

Anyone have any ideas? I know this is a shot in the dark, and it may not work at all in this computer, but I can dream, can't I?

Oh, and while I'm at it - I've read that these specific PowerComputing models cannot take G4 upgrades, due to some motherboard issue. Is that true? While my 500Mhz G3 is fast enough for 9.1, if I wanted to dual-boot OS X in the future, I would love to get a G4 running in there.
