I love this one. He's using "a lot of people don't know" every time he learns something new. Like that there's still a <gasp> war going on in Korea. Because Trump is not my first language (or my second or third), I'm not really sure what he thought a community college was. Any idea?

I've now listened to this a dozen times, and I have no clue what he means. It all depends on his interpretation of what might happen?

    Gahhhhhhh!

A lot of people don't know that Trump knows a lot of things. They were riffing on this on Hardball tonight. They brought back an old gem... The day Donald Trump claimed he invented the phrase "Prime The Pump".

Just one of many things a lot of people don't know. Did you know Abraham Lincoln was a republican? Really crazy stuff, knocked me over when Trump informed me of that.

The first blurb, being incoherent babble, apparently caused your brain to seize before encountering the second, straightforward, albeit juvenile, declaration.

On the first blurb: Trump is not really into the word "community".

"Community Organizer" ... who comes to mind?

Two egotistical men in the same room? What could go wrong? I'm sure both will have a free hand available by day's end.

Thank you for that straight-forward and clear translation.

I really don't understand how he made it out of middle school! ...stable genius, my foot!

Ah...that explains why the bovine translator I use when watching a politician talk couldn't make head or tails out of what Trump says. He ain't talking BS, he's talking horse crap.

Never knew about those vocational schools. I wonder if there are any other differences between the past and present. Perhaps Donald might be able to think of more. It's very neat and also interesting.

The word "vocational" is a much better word than "a community college"; the latter is actually a phrase and therefore ineligible for wordsmanship.

The first one sounds like he's tripping on acid. The second one, I think, is something like 'If NK don't play nice, I am going to take my toys and go home.'

You're welcome. I think Secretary Tillerson expressed it best.

We know he can’t read. He also can’t keep a train of thought for more than 8 words, and proves it consistently. Where are the deplorables explaining why this is good?

I swear, somebody needs to start a website where instead of generating Lorem Ipsum, they merely quote Trump speeches. It'd give "dummy text" a whole new meaning.

You are too intelligent to understand #45 speak.
Those with limited education perfectly understand what he is saying.

Actually, this makes perfectly good sense to me, which is quite unusual for one of His statements.

I, too, understand what he was saying. I just think the things he said are stupid.

Vocational colleges are good. But so are community colleges. They serve different purposes. If Trump doesn't know what community colleges means or represents, maybe he should make an effort to find out before speaking against them.

Walking out of a meeting if it's not successful may sound good, but doing that at a much anticipated top-level meeting that is the center of world attention would cause a huge spectacle. If Trump does that, there is no way North Korea will come back to the negotiation table for the next few decades. That's why you don't have top level meetings to start negotiations, you have it when all details have been worked out and a treaty is ready or almost ready to sign.
