    I have a Mac OS X 10.4.11 PowerPC emac, 700 mhz, 512 mb ram

I accidentally (i have no idea how) deleted about half of the apps in the /Utilities folder. my internal cd player/burner is broken so i can't reinstall.

long story short, does anyone know anything that does basically what the Activity Monitor app does, that works on 10.4.11 and PowerPC?

Thanks! :) i already tried searching but can only find stuff that works on 10.6+

You can run "top" from the command line if you didn't delete There's also MenuMeters which monitors the system from the menubar. And iStat Menus, too. Tiger download link is here.

    In that one place
Try atMonitor. Theres a PPC version but I don't know how well it works, I've found it to be way better than Activity Monitor.

    it doesn't work.

i unzipped it, put it in the utilities folder, and then it bounces once and then closes right away? :(

@InuNacho: that ppc verson says it doesn't support my version of os x
