My iphone currently is stuck on a screen saying "restore needed" with the plug and itunes logo and only gives me the option to make an emergency call. When I plug into itunes it doesn't recognize my phone as My iphone but just "iphone" showing nothing is on it. I downloaded a few external programs onto my pc like "touchcopy" which said it would give me access to files on my iphone. The program can recognize photos and music but isn't detecting any data files. I REALLY need my notes off the iphone and my last sync was done awhile ago and doesn't have what I need on it. Does anyone know how to get back my notes or at least get the file transferred to my pc? Would jailbreaking the phone help and can I even do it in this "restore needed" mode?
