iPod touch HELP!!! My Itunes Can't Restore my ipod

My Ipod Touch can't restore, and I can connect it to Itunes, and go on the Itunes store...
but when I press restore, it will not connect to the Ipod software update thingy, when I'm still online on the Itunes store
HELP!!!!?:mad::apple::mad:
