HELP! My photos disapeared

I need some help here. I dragged my picture folder to the public folder (and then back). Now all my photos disapeared from iPhoto.
When I try to import them again iPhoto says it can´t read the files!!!

What have Ii done? I know the pics are on my hard disk, but I can´t seem to be able to open them.

I do not have Photo Shop

What can I do?

Try deleting you iPhoto preferences and resarting iPhoto and see if it can find the library files and therefore reconnect ot the picture files. I don't think that they are actually corrupted, just a glitch in the system somewhere. Try opening one fo the actual photos in Preview by right/control clicking and choosing Open With...

You are right, I can open my photos in Preview.
But I can´t seem to find (and delete) the iPhoto preference files.

Any advice?
