Although I think my problem is bigger than Safari. The other day I used Norton to try and retreive some pictures I accidentally deleted. It found 6000 files. I turned on "preview" so I could see the images without double clicking on each one. After a while as the pictures were revealed my coputer started to slow down and gave me messages warning me to close applications or risk doing damage. In the end, several apps (Toast, Limewire, Safari and some others) were knocked out of my dock. When I rebuilt the dock everything worked but Safari. It starts to load and then quits. Norton disk check tells me that I have problems, but it can't fix them all. And I've tried re-installing and resetting Safari with no success. Is this something I should take to an Apple Store? And if I wait and install Panther will that solve my problems or would it screw up Panther? Thanks for the help.
