So I got the sample videos to play on my 40 GB Photo, but I didn't understand the directions on how to convert regular quicktime files to the avi format. Incase you have no idea what I am talking about,

http://www.makezine.com/blog/archive/2005/09/how_to_play_video_on_ipods_wit.html

I have linux on my iPod and have Podzilla. I am running tiger.

any help would be great!

thanks in advance.

Holy Jeez'm, that video is SO cool. I'm really tempted to Podzilla my ipod photo.

I basically need to learn how to run the program in terminal. I really hate using terminal, it's like MS DOS. Why couldn't someone just create a simple application for this conversion? I read the instructions 100 times on http://ipodlinux.org/Video_Player#Demonstration but I can't get it to work? I really have no idea what I am doing. Please help!

I scanned through that page.. one thing that's pretty cool that hasn't yet been mentioned is the fact that podzilla, and consequentially, videos can be used on non-color ipods... that's just wack! I would love to see that...

I wonder how long it will take until the podzilla/video combination will become streamlined... there could be HUGE demand for it.
