I have tried every thing and my Ipod touch 2G 8GBs MC Model will still not downgrade I always get the *The iPod "iPod' could not be restored an unknow error occurred (3194) I'm trying to downgrade my 4.0 to 3.1.2 and, I keep getting this error I get my Restore Ipsw from http://www.felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware/ Can some one please help me?

I believe that Apple stopped verifying downgrades for iPod touches as well as iPhone, so you have to have the SHSH blob saved for the firmware you want to downgrade.

I think they only limited it to 3.1.3, but im not sure.

Nah, I tested the downgrade for all the firmwares, and none of them worked. Probably because I don't have the SHSH blobs for them. Which is just fine for me, since iOS 4 is good enough for me. xD
