Hey everyone. I got my iphone on Monday, and I am just learning how to use it. I figured out how to add multiple email address linked to the push to e-mail option which is REALLY COOL.. But i was wondering how to do some other things, like syncing my address book vs. manually putting in contacts.

basically, whether i do it one way or another, i have to put ALL my contacts into my phone or computer from scratch. I never used my cpu address book so its empty. All my contacts were always in my phone. NOW, which way would be the best way? Should i put them all into the cpu address book and sync it?

If i put a contact into my phone while i am on the road, when i sync, will that contact automatically get put onto my cpu? Or does it work like the music where once it is on, it can not be copied off of it?

Also, i dont know if this has to do with the number of contacts or not, BUT my husband put all of his in directly to his iphone, and when he goes to contacts, all the names are separated out by letter - for instance, the first line of all of the names that starts with F has a big letter "F" on it.

I added 8 or so address to my iphone from my cpu just to see how it would work and it is not organized that way. Is that just because there are less contacts?
