Sign up for one of their free training classes in the morning. The big store here has a "Get to know your iPad" class from 8:30 till 10 AM; then they open at 10. Want to be 1st? Sign up for a free class and you'll be inside the store while the others are standing outside.

I don't think there is usually much of a line if at all for a Macbook Pro release

Does Apple usually have these out in the mornings when the store opens? I don't normally follow product launches this close.

do you really think there will be lines tomorrow? Will they be available right away when the stores open on the east coast in the morning.

There won't be any lines. We are talking about the MBP here, not the iPad 2

Our Apple store here is crazy, I guess. It has lineups many mornings no matter if there is a release or not. And in coffee shops here, it is probably 2:1 or even 3:1 for Apple:pC.
