hi how can i get push notifications to work on my unlocked and jailbroken iphone 3g?

    or 3gs if it makes a big difference because i really don't know my cousin ordered a used one for me and jailbroke and unlocked it himself with ultrasn0w . how can i check what version or iOS it is? i see all these people say ios version yadda yadda. what is it? thanks :confused:

    the best way to get push working is to not hacktivate it and borrow someones official carriers SIM card and activate it.

    sorry i forgot to say i can only use tmobile and not at&t:p and bravo really informative answer thanks.

    Find an AT&T sim. Even old inactive or prepaid go phone sims will do. Buy one on eBay for $1-2 or so.

    thanks i was wondering that too. i do have an inactive at&t sim card.

    That will do the trick but you have to restore and jb it again.

    alrite thanks but how do i know which version to download? i don't know my iOS or bandstuff if that makes any sense lol.
