So 16.1.2 comes and goes but there is seemingly still no resolution, nor acknowledgment, of a feature which was removed in iOS16.
In short, if you store/organise your photos on your Mac (not iCloud) in Photos, and you sync those albums/photos to your iPhone, in iOS16 apple removed the ability to 'hide' any photo in those synced albums.
You can hide all other photos which are native to the phone's albums (using the 3 dots button), but not these.
For the life of me I can't think of a reason why they would want to restrict that functionality, so I've put it down to an error so far, until told otherwise.
Has anybody found a work-around/resolution to this?
