High Sierra Public Beta Live: who's tried it on a 6,1?

    Anyone? Mainly curious about gaming benchmarks and eGPU performance.

    Waiting on this one. Will give it a whirl on a MacBookPro first. Don't need that platform for critical tasking just yet.

    Mostly avoiding the 6.1 upgrade due to Bootcamp. Have no confidence that Bootcamp will be good to go during beta, and it is already a "bag of hurt" under Sierra.

    On my iMac, Bootcamp works perfectly. (That is, if you don't use System Preferences to change boot device, but use the option key on startup. Also, startup takes a lot longer, but aside from that, flawless). However, some have trouble with Parallels.

    Interesting, I have a devil of a time getting Bootcamp to start under Sierra. I often get a black screen after the startup chime. Only resetting the PRAM and going to System Preferences and changing the startup volume there seems to work.
