doing the soda can was a nice touch.
Hey those Dell monitors look better with aluminum foil wrapped around them!
Can't have anymore fun with white powder these days.
Used to leaving a few lines of it sitting on somebody's desk would lead people to think drugs.
Now the whole building clears out and they bring in the hazmat unit in bunny suits, and people run off to the hospital complaining about all sort of terminal symptoms.
As cheezy as it sounds, putting glitter on a keyboard works really well. Very hard to clean up and if you work with an anal retentive office-mate, MAN do they get pissed because they will wind up with glitter stuck to their face, shirt, you name it. Very simple and very effective.
is it me or in the second picture the guy in top left corner look like patrick stewart?
ah stupid me, its just a poster
I hope there was an "inside joke" in all of this. Covering someones entire desk are with tin foil just for the heckof it doesn't seem that funny to me.
that must have taken one hell of a long time to do, all nicely trimmed around the edges of hte display of the telephone with no rips etc, oh and i wonder how many rolls of alu foil were used!
Are those the new metallic LCDs to go with the G5s!!
very nice - we might be trying that here at work soon - I'll be sure to post some pics
haha thats classic!!! must have taken a lot of time and really meticulous and careful execution
you crazy kids ... this is just a natural evolutionary thing, this started as a dorm prank. You can always fill the room with easter grass, or put sticky notes all over or put thousands of half filled paper cups in the cubicle.
for other future ideas check out;
there as many funny dorm pranks over the summer but if you check the dorm category from the previous year you'll see some funny things. Filed with packing peanuts was great too.
I have seen this prank before, but I just don't remeber where. Never the less, it was a good prank.
It's been done before:
How To Wrap Your Friend's Apartment in Tin Foil
The stapler is nice, too bad it's not a Swingline
Thanks, Flowbee. Ever since I saw this thread, I was trying to remember where to find those apartment photos. That prank was much more elaborate than this one. There just isn't that much stuff in a Dilbert cubicle. For the apartment prank, they wrapped every book, every CD, and even the entire toilet paper roll!
Imidazole: Your handle rocks.
Speaking of the over reacting to white powder, a package of "imported" flour created problems at a Honeywell facility here in town today.
that must have been a team effort.
Hahaha! You, me and Milton must be on the same brain waves!
haha, ditto! You know, a friend of mine actually bought one of those red Swingline's after that movie came out. He always keeps it out on his desk, lol, I've been known to take it and freak him out every once in a while.
But then I've always preferred long-term psychological trauma to a mere office prank .... I'm kinda old fashioned in that way ...
Hehe, poor Milton. Does your friend mumble alot, too?
Check out the page again guys, I updated it with the pictures from when he returned! Its priceless
