Does Hillary think so little of Bill, is she having fantasies of Trump, or is she really married to Trump :D ?

Look here and decide for yourself.

I'm surprised that nobody has defended Hillary yet.

Nothing to defend. She messed her words up. I doubt it means anything.

Haven't even clicked the link, but what is there to "defend"? She likely just misspoke about whatever it was.

    Pointless thread is pointless.

Of course she did but that's the point. All candidates do and she was even on a teleprompter. Next time people post about another candidate gaff, they should just remember that everyone does it especially when not giving a prepared speech.

It probably means as much as that time Condoleezza Rice called George Bush her husband.

I'm not concerned about gaffs and more concerned about when they say bad things they meant to say.

Very concerned about Hillary's fitness in light of this symptom.

I'm sure. But no concerns over Trump's sanity? I think that says more about you than either candidate.

I'm surprised that this thread has been started.

In truth, I was even more surprised to see that you had started it, as I would have assumed someone such as @waloshin, or @aaronvan, or some others known for fatuous threads, to have started a thread such as this.

I would agree that the original news link was fatuous since Hillary obviously misspoke in her speech. I don't however think this thread itself is fatuous since I was trying to show that all candidates misspeak from time to time and that doesn't make them unqualified to be president.

    Fair enough.

Actually, I had forgotten Condoleeza Rice referring to GWB as her 'husband'.

Two things - three - really come to mind. The first is I still think it fatuous.

Secondly, for Hillary Clinton, it probably would serve as further evidence that every single syllable that comes from her mouth will be scrutinised, and not in a nice way.

Thirdly, I accept that people misspeak: However, that is not a defence of Mr Trump, as I don't believe that he misspeaks - rather, I suspect that he tends to mean (if not think through fully to possible consequences) what falls out of his mouth.

Probably just short circuited again, luckily this time it didn't involve storing confidential info on an unsecured server.

When any of the candidates claim that they misspoke, I generally take them at their word.

    Trying to be you?

I had no designs on such a position.

Who could even hope to try?
