In the Home app when you click the location button. You can add people to the HomePod. When there is just one member you can click on it and enable Personal Requests. What happens when you add a new member and enable Personal Requests on their account? Can they do requests based on their iPhone or is it still reading my messages?

HomePod only connects to the main persons iCloud account, in this case you.

When you add someone to the “Home” you are allowing them to turn lights on / off or other things you can do via HomeKit... but HomePod texts, calendars etc are restricted to the main person who set up the Home in iCloud in the first place.

If you are out of the house, the others will not be able to use the features like messages on your account
